FGPS strives to offer state-of-the art evidences-based training and research based on group psychotherapy principles and established protocols for group psychotherapists both in our local community and, with zoom, across the globe. Anyone can attend most trainings, however, as a member, you have available special pricing and free CE’s, as well as access to exclusive member-only events. In addition to the education, FGPS events provide an opportunity for networking with others as well as being part of a supportive and welcoming community.
FGPS provides the following education:
- Annual Conference – Held in December, we offer up a nationally known speaker/s on current topics in group therapy. This is a one-day event. CEs are available to members and non-members.
- Monthly Lunch & Learns – Held most months on a Wednesday at noon, we draw from both our membership or outside clinicians for an hour of casual learning and interaction on a topic current to group therapy.
All meetings are presently live-online until further notice.
